We are a client and family centered PA Licensed Outpatient
Counseling agency. Our Goal is to provide the best and most convenient services to our clients. We are a group of caring professionals who make the welfare of the patients our first concern.
We have full accreditation from the Joint Commission for
Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. This certifies that
ACCG has achieved (and continues to strive for) higher standards in
the quality and environment of care than is required for
licensing.
We serve a diverse population of clients ranging from child through adult. We provide a full range of services through psychiatric (medical) as well as psychological interventions including,
Individual, Marriage, and Family Counseling, EMDR therapy, Behavior Shaping, Mobile Therapy, Psychological testing, and psychiatric evaluations.
Average number of session is approximately 20. Our psychotherapy sessions are 50 to 60 minutes each, with the exception of EMDR sessions which are usually 90 minutes in length.
We are an association of Mental Health Professionals, licensed as a outpatient psychiatric clinic. We have
1 full time psychologists, a full time psychiatrist, 5 part time psychologists,
4 full time Psychotherapists, and 2 part time therapists. We provide a full range of psychiatric services to over
450 patients in Mercer, Lawrence and Crawford Counties. We are conveniently located right off the Shenango Valley Freeway near downtown Sharon, Pa. at 272 East Connelly Blvd. Our facility is approximately 5000 square feet of professional office space, with separate waiting rooms for the psychiatrist, and psychologists. The facility meets all PA requirements for outpatient clinics, and is fully handicapped accessible.
Our professional staff specialize in a wide variety of disorders which cover virtually all of the DSM - IV diagnostic codes. We provide services for
PTSD, eating disorders, OCD, ADHD, ODD, phobias, anxiety disorders, Bi-Polar Disorders, psychosis, to name a
few. We have additional employees who are not mental health professionals, however are college graduates and are bilingual and we have utilized them on occasion. We also contract on an as-needed basis with The West Central Center for the Deaf for clinics with hearing and speech difficulties. We have
4 full time therapists, who share the emergency coverage. They have cell phones, and One is available 24 hours, 7 days each week for emergencies.
In emergency cases we can usually provide an intake evaluation on the same day (or next day if the call is after 8:00 pm. In most cases the individuals are seen within 1 week of their initial contact to the agency.
Our goal is to accept most Managed Care
plans. We have excellent working relationships with most area physicians, and regularly receive referral from area physicians, hospitals and HMO when applicable.
